Paper Usage
We minimise our output of paper by producing nearly all of our documentation in digital format. Unless specifically requested otherwise, our proposals, service level agreements, invoices, purchase orders, statements and reports are all produced electronically and transferred to customers and prospects online.
We are aware that Direct Mail is still an effective method of communication between businesses and consumers and we play a part in that function. However, we will always recommend the use of recycled paper or at least the use of paper from regenerative forests and where possible we recommend email flyers and social media strategies over paper-based solutions. We recommend environmentally friendly resources for corporate stationery.
We believe the more we use recycled materials, the cheaper and easier-to-source they will become and we are pleased to encourage their use where appropriate.
External Influences
We hope that our environmental policy is understood and respected by our customers and we encourage them to agree to exchanges of digital documents where possible.
Under tendering situations, those companies which illustrate their own environmental policy will score additional points.
Energy
All of our computers are configured with screen-savers and timed component shut-down. System peripherals are disconnected when not in use. Our office is illuminated with low-power energy-saving bulbs.
